It's hard for me to believe these two little tiny feet will turn two years old on November 24th. I have been saying to myself "Where has the time gone". It seems to me it was just yesterday that Leila made her grand entrance into this world and now she will be two years old. When someone this precious enters our lives we wish they could stay wee ones for a long time. Although, as we all know that is not the case, and so now is the time I must start treating her as a little Tot and no longer a baby. Just thinking about it makes me cry...

Franchelle

If you decide to create this Apron, make sure the length is above the knees or shorter, depending on the length you desire. This will make the Apron more attractive while wearing. No Aprons below the knees, ok?
Another Apron created by Gloria Marcial for the International Quilt Market, Houston.

It's my pleasure to post a photo of Sister-in-Law Gloria. As you can see, she is going through the instructions for my new sewing machine. Gloria actually walked me through Sewing 101, since I had not sewn in a long time. Although, I did remember fairly quickly how to sew. I guess it's like riding a bike, sit in the seat and start peddling...Also, Gloria designed a new decorative pillow for me, which will be displayed at Market. She is also sewing Aprons for the trade show as well. When I receive the Aprons, I will post a photo on the web blog.
Gloria is a wonderful Sister-in-Law, experienced Seamtress, and is also involved with designing and sewing her own quilts for family and friends.
Thank you Sis, you're the best!
Until next time!

Franchelle

The South Hampton fabric will be selling in fabric stores, October 2009. If you shop online, the fabric collection can be found at Fat Quarters and the Quilt Shoppe (which is located in California).
I really love my new South Hampton collection! The fabric is contemporary, although, it still has a very traditional feel to it, which makes the collection wonderful for home decor projects.
Soon, photos of Apron projects will be posted on my web blog.
Thank you for visiting!

As promised, I have uploaded the second colorway to the South Hampton fabric collection. I really love this colorway, it will be great for sewing your little girl tots dresses, trendy hats, lap quilt/matching pillow, Kimono Set, Smocks and Bloomers. The list can go on and on....
I am so excited to sew a trendy outfit for Leila, she is going to look so cute. Once, I am done with the Quilt Market projects, I will start sewing little girl tots clothing and upload to my web blog. If you happen to create an item from the collection, please send me an email and photo. It will be placed on this blog!

The fabric samples have arrived and to say the least, I am very excited about the whole fabric collection. When the fabric arrived, it was almost sureal, since I have been waiting a long time to achieve this goal. The wait was worth it all. Now, I am ready to sew projects that will be placed on my web blog. Actually, Gloria (Sister-in-Law) and I have started sewing a trendy pillow. I will place a photo of the pillow on my web blog, once it's completed.
I will also have a fat quarter contest when more fabric arrives. The shipment in the photos is dedicated for Quilt Market projects that will take place next month. Although, do not worry, the contest will happen.
Tomorrow, I will place the second colorway on the web blog (Magneta/cyan/yellow), which will be great for little Tot projects.
Thank you for visiting!
Hugs,
Frannie

The last couple of months have been a little crazy... I have been concentrating on creating a new surface pattern collection for fabric. I am not completely done, I still need three more surface patterns to make a collection . Although, I could not stand it anymore and had to show you what's new in the Studio. I love the new colors, plum and olive. The colors and designs will make a beautiful quilt. As you can see, I laid out the patterns in a quilt block, so you can get an idea of how the designs will look together.BTW, I have some very exciting news, Henry Glass Fabrics notified me today, the strike off's have been approved. They are now ready to print the fabric. I know it has been a long time coming, although, it really does take about 10-12 months for everything to come together.
The Company will be creating a Quilt for the International Quilt Market and I will be creating a couple of handmade items for the trade show as well. If you plan on attending, please stop by the Henry Glass Fabric trade show booth and say "Hello to Harriet Clemens." Also, request to see the "South Hampton" fabric collection.
I hope everyone is having a fabulous Summer!
Until next time...

Leila actually thought she was hiding in between her Mommy's legs. At 20 months, she is a shy little one. Leila thought she would go under cover. Before I snapped this photo, Leila had her head down, making sure not to look at any of the guests at Sarah's Sweet 16th Birthday Party. I called her name and she looked up at me, that's when I took the photo. Little did she know everyone could see her. The wonderful imagination of a child is precious!Hugs,
Franchelle

It's hard to believe, seems like yesterday she made her grand entrance into this world. This past weekend, my Brother and Sister-in-Law gave a Birthday Bash for Sarah. Our family and Sarah's BFF's had so much fun. I will be posting pics of the event. So, keep your eyes posted to this web blog!Hugs,

"Where Women Create" featuring Artists and their Studios. This is the second book I have purchased from the Company, Stampington. These books are so inspiring, they actually go beyond the Artists Studios.
In this issue, Marie Osmond is featured, the story is enchanting and her studio is awesome, vintage inspired.
Please treat yourself to a wonderful gift "Where Women Create". You will be so inspired, to the point, where you start redecorating your very own creative studio.

*In My Studio* A wonderful project has been taking place..."What Project? S.H.O.P. Totes! (StartHelpingOurPlanet.org).Now, when you step out of the house to grocery shop, walk the fashion mall or purchase your produce at the farmer's market, you can now take along the S.H.O.P. Tote. The totes are trendy fashionable bags that can be used over and over again, and really do help save the environment.
The totes are so trendy, they were selected by the "Secret Room" Coordinators for the Academy Awards Oscar Night Tote Bag giveaway in February 2009.
Carry the Tote that Celebrities use!
I am very honored to have my designs on S.H.O.P. Totes, which will be released Spring 2010. Lifestyle photographs to be placed on the web blog to show how I am using S.H.O.P. Totes.
Together, you and I, can help save the environment!
